CheckMates success had rippled all the way down to California, and the opportunity to join one of Canadas most ambitious and celebrated wineries was irresistible. A complex wine with aromas of Asian pear and peach backed by hints of graphite. The palate has a rich entry with flavours of pear and nectarine. There is tension across the mid palate followed by long lasting herbal, wet stone and mineral elements.
